John Street United Methodist Church: This 1841 building was investigated for weathering, deferred maintenance, floor load capacity, and the effect of vibrations from the collapse of the World Trade Center three blocks away. An initial report written shortly after 9-11 had indicated the possibility of damage to the structure; field examination was able to show that the minor damage found pre-dated the collapses.
